Review: OATIFIX by Lush.

A month ago, I bought a facemask from Lush. It is called OATIFIX.
And I am more than pleased with it. It helped my skin to keep moisture in.

On the packaging it says it would cleanse and calm dry/sensitive skin.
I didn't have spots during the time I used it so I can't tell you, if it helps with that but I kept my skin calm and I didn't have dry patches and it definately felt much softer and moisturised afterwards.
The ingredients of this mask are bananas, vanilla, oats, illipe butter, almonds, kaolin, glycerin, talc, sandalwood oil, benzoin tincture, coumarin, benzyl cinnamate, linalool, water and gardenia extract as perfume.

Because of the fresh ingredients it has to be kept in the fridge or some place cool.
I didn't have an allergic reaction to this face mask.
I usually washed my face about 15 minutes before showering and warmed up the mask in my palms first to make it smooth, then I applied it evenly and left it on until I was in the shower. With lukewarm water I rinsed it off.
Instantly my face felt better. The feeling stayed for about three days.
I used this mask every second day for a month. It lasted me for 15 appilcations.
On the backside of the packaging it says when it was made by whom and for how long they guarantee it will be good to use.

Here it says it was made my Ruta on October 15th and that it will be good until November 12th at least.

If you bring back fife empty face masks, you will get one for free, so collect your masks!!
**I recommend finding out if you are allergic to any of the ingredients before buying a face mask. If you have a mask on and it starts getting red and itchy, take it off with lukewarm water immediately.
I hope this helped and got you to try a mask. They have a lot of nice ones! I will go back and buy another one in a few days!

Positive Attitude.

I can not tell you how much it bothers me to see people being mean. I am a happy person and I always try to focus on the good. But I can not understand why other people try to tear others apart.
It makes me sick.
Being happy is a choice. And not only one choice but several choices a day.

Let me give you an example:
When you sit in the bus on your way somewhere and you see someone getting in and sitting next to you. You notice they are dressed well and you like the style. Will you turn over and tell them that they look nice? - Why not?
You may be afraid to bother them or you figure they know already or they could be mean to you making a comment about them.
But actually, if you say something nice, they will smile. They will maybe even give you a nice comment back. But they are never rude or pick on you for having a weird haircolour or dressing different.

Now thinking about people sharing things on the internet to share happyness.
They recieve so many mean and hurtfull comments on whatever little detail that can be found in their content.

They are people who spread happyness and recieve badness in return.

This sickens me so much. I ask you reading this to please be nice and respectful. Maybe even compliment people on the streets. They will appreciate it. It is like handing out happiness for free.

5 Seconds of Summer.

A break from studying..

I love hot water with lemon juice and honey at the moment.

With my cup and my phone playing the full 5 Seconds of Summer album I can relax.

She looks so perfect
a no-brainer. One of my favorite songs for every mood. It somehow fits. And if it fits it sits ^^
nd if you buy the whole album of iTunes you get the music video for free!

 Don't stop
We wouldn't stop, would we?

Good girls
For me, it is about all girls who manage to balance everything. Being good in school, being nice at home and having fun with your friends.
"Forget what you thought. 'Cause good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught."

Kiss me kiss me
Story of my life. Long distance relationships..
"Let's make tonight the best of our lives" aka "use what you've got!"

18
I also want to have a tattoo.. or a piercing (I just hate needles and scars)
If I were still under 18, this would have been MY song. Now it reminds me how I've waited and waited. I always felt older but the law didn't let that count.
Seriously though: The ending of the song is soooooo nice! *-*

Everything I didn't say
: "Late is better than never" -  but it isn't the best either.

Beside you
The instrumentals and the feels!!
"When we both fall asleep underneath the same sky. To the beat of our hearts at the same time."
"She sleeps alone."
"I wish.."

End up here
I admire how easily they make a song catchy.
"Next day out, everyone thought you were so insane. 'Cause you were so far out of my league."
I always think of a Caliban shirt instead of a Colbain though. Don't judge.

Long way home
A nice sing along song andI absolutely LOVE when they come to:
"Hitting every red light.
Kissing at the stop signs, darling."

Heartbreak girl
100% friendzone
I really don't get how girls can be so cruel.. But we just don't see it. It's not only about girls but about the best friend who definately is the best. A big hug goes out to everyone stuck in the friendzone. I know they would be the best boyfriend / girlfriend the other person could wish for. But sooner or later you will open their eyes!

 English love affaire
This one reminds me a lot of the band Panic! at the Disco. Being a little funky.

Amnesia
There is a really good cover by Kurt Schneider and Macy Kate.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPEGfMTrL48
This song  discribes my fear to lose someone so well. And the voice is rough and full of pain and hope at the same time. - simply amazing. Definately one of my favorites of this album.

Socil casualty
"lalalalalaladada Save me from who I'm supposed to be!" - aka let me be who I want to be and support me in that

Never be
Another inspirational song with a message. But I have to be true, they make really nice ones and you don't feel like your latin teacher is standing in front of you telling you "Carpe diem!"

Voodoo doll
It somehow reminds me of a unknown force that drags you to someone. I don't know where it comes from. I don't know why and where it will go. But somehow it is a unhealthy relationship. What does it remind you of?
I don't like this song too much though. I miss their usual catchyness (can you say that?)

Greenlight
I don't know why but this song got me and i can sing to it all day. Beginning with a shower-sing-session.
Also a good song to convince other people from 5SoS and their awesomeness.

I wish you a nice study break :)

Night Trip to the Airport.

Last night I got up at 4 in the morning to drop my mother at the airport. It was sooooo dark out and when I came home I went directly to sleep even though I knew I would have to get up 1,5 hours later anyways.. I could have stayed up but I always tend to sleep, even if it is 10 more minutes antil my alarm goes off

I tried to take a picture for you but it was completely black outside.
But soon it will be dark for much longer.. I hate getting up when it is still dark outside. It feels weird.

I hope everyone is doing as fine as I do :)

Random Photo Tag.

Weeell.. I am going through all of Zoellas blogposts (I am a little weird. But so what!) and I found this cool tag. Even though she posted it in 2009, she asked everyone to do it and guess what? - I am doing it.
I did not count the video file (I just bought the 5 Seconds of Summer album and it comes with two videos! So nice :) anyone else loves 5SoS?)

Select the fourth file and then the fourth picture in this file and explain it:

heeey, it is my screenshot file..

I took this picture as I absolute love what is says.
And to be honest, Hannah is the best at collecting nice "sentences". I have a lot of screenshots of her Instagram.
I though of writing this on a paper and framing it to hang in my room.
Should I?

I tag everyone who reads this. Even though it may not be the most "current" trend. We'll just make it a trend again. And let me know if you do! I would love to read it :)

DIY Pencil Case

I needed a new pencil case for my last year of school in which I could fit everything. And as I don't like spending money on things I could make myself, I made one myself.
What I show you requires sewing skills.

Things I used:
  • Scap fabric in two colours
  • Sewing Needle
  • Thick and thin matching thread
  • Two press studs
  • Scissors

1.

I cut out two rectangular pieces of cloth equal in size ( they don't have to be squares). The purple is a leftover from a dress my sister made some time ago and the other was part of a jeans which ripped. I used a pencil to measure and added about 10 centimeter.

2.

Fit them on top of each other with their "outsides" facing each other. You will have to decide which sides you find prettier. I placed the rougher fabric on top for sewing. Using a sewing machine is helpful but I didn't want to pull mine out so I sewed with a needle and the thin thread all around the pieces leaving only 4cm open.
This step is the most important as your pencil case could fall apart inadequate sewed.

3.
The 4cm unsewed work as the hole which I needed to pull all the fabric through to get the inside out. Because we sewed the prettier sides facing each other. Now the joint is inside and the nicer side is outside. Take extra care for the corners as they sometimes are harder to push outwards. After that I sewed the hole with really small stitches. This has to be done by hand to make the stitches less visible.

4.
I then folded it in half with the jeans being on the outside. With the thick (black) thread I made obvious and nice looking stitches to close the sides.

5.
I then took the press studs and sewed them on the inside close to the edge. They have four holes on each half and I went through each of them five times to make sure they will not fall off.

This was the last step. It took me about 30 minutes to make.
